Autumn Playlist

It’s been a while since I did a music post, so I thought I’d take a break from writing this week to share some of the songs that have been encouraging me recently.  I’d love it if you’d share some recommendations in the comments too – I always love discovering new songs!

  1. Great songs, Lesley. I like how you put some of the lyrics in photos. I’m not familiar with all of these, and I’m going to have to come back to hear more. I love “No Shame.” I haven’t heard that one before. Thank you for these encouraging songs! Love and blessings to you!

  2. I had only heard a couple of these songs, Lesley … the one by Jason Gray especially caught my ear! Thanks so much for introducing me to some new music. I’ve got NeedtoBreathe’s Acoustic Live album on repeat these days …

  3. I had Corneal transplant surgery last week, but the donated cornea did not attach. I go back into surgery tomorrow. All I will be allowed to do is lay flat on my back with the exception of getting up once an hour for 10 minutes. I appreciate the play list. I’m sure it will make the time pass faster.

    1. Sorry you have to go back for more surgery, Calvonia! Praying that it goes well this time, and praying for you as you recover. It doesn’t sound fun to have to lie on your back for so long, but I hope you are encouraged by the music.

  4. oh Lesley, i love this!

some days I click on my Pandora station and let the phone play quietly when i’m puttering in my mom’s kitchen.

my soul is soothed and refocused to where it needs to be.

God speaks to us through tunes …
