When Progress Seems Slow…

Do you ever feel frustrated that your growth as a Christian seems slow?

I certainly identify with that. Sometimes it can feel like we’re taking three steps forward and two backwards. It’s easy to look at people in the Bible, like Paul, and think that it was different for them, that somehow progress was quick and easy. We can even elevate them to hero status.

However, the truth is, while God used them in great ways, they were just ordinary people like us with their faults, flaws and frustrations.

I’d love it if you’d join me at Gracefully Truthful to reflect on this some more.

My aim is to encourage you that your effort is not in vain, and that, over time, all those little baby steps do add up to significant progress.
