Forgiveness… it’s a tricky subject.
We like the idea and, as Christians, we know it’s something we’re called to do, but putting it into practice is rarely easy.
- What if the person is not really sorry?
- What if they sin against us again and again?
- What about the larger offences that have deeply hurt us? Are we meant to just say that it doesn’t matter?
I’d love it if you’d join me today at Gracefully Truthful as we explore all these questions and take a look at what the Bible has to say.

I find reassuring that when the carnal me would not or could not forgive, the spirit within me can. Great message today. Blessings.

Thanks, Calvonia! Forgiveness is definitely not something we can do ourselves. We need the Holy Spirit! Blessings to you too!

This is a great post, Lesley! Forgiveness takes work and an attitude of humility (and I’m often too lazy to exercise those two things ).
